A Note From Barry

Barry Curewitz, Founder of Closet POSSIBLE

I’m often asked why I got into the business of custom closets. The answer really comes down to one word – community. In my former life as a marketing executive, I spent a lot of time traveling. I’ve been to almost every state in the country and visited Europe, South America and Central America. I loved seeing new places and learning about different cultures, and I’ve always enjoyed solving problems to help people achieve something better. But I never felt like I was part of a community. Even though I’ve lived in central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA since 1988, time spent on the road created a disconnect with the people and places in my own backyard.

In 2012, a close family member passed away, which led to serious self-reflection on my part. I always wanted to start a business, so I investigated different opportunities. Networking led me to the custom closet and home organization business. Rather than buying a franchise, I wanted to start fresh in terms of both my business model and the solutions I developed. I wanted to run a local, family-owned business so I could create custom solutions based on personal relationships with people in my community. When you think about it, there aren’t many things in life that are more personal than your closet.

Welcome To Closet Possible

I founded Closet POSSIBLE in 2014 and opened our showroom in Pennington, NJ in 2015. I’ve been privileged to have folks welcome me into their homes to create one-of-a-kind, custom closets and organization solutions using high-end products, customized for the client’s lifestyle, with no compromise.

Now I’m part of the community. We’re proud to support local nonprofits that do great work. I love bumping into clients at restaurants, movie theatres and local businesses and hearing about their families. I feel like the solutions Closet POSSIBLE has provided have helped make their lives better. By welcoming me into their homes and communities, they’ve done the same for me. For that, I’m forever grateful.

If I can help you improve your life with a custom closet or organization system for any room in your home, please don’t hesitate to give me a call. I look forward to meeting you.

Giving Back to the Community

Giving Back to the Community

One of the main reasons why Barry Curewitz founded Closet POSSIBLE was to become part of a community, both as an individual and a business. We take our role in the community very seriously as a provider of valuable products and services, but more importantly, as a good neighbor. Good neighbors look out for each other. We help those in need. We do this not because we expect something in return, but because that’s what good neighbors do. By working together to build stronger local communities, we make the world a better place.

Helping HomeFront Help the Homeless

Closet POSSIBLE has partnered with HomeFront, a wonderful organization based in Central New Jersey that offers a number of programs designed to help local families break the cycle of poverty. When our customers empty their closets to prepare for installation, we ask them to put aside any items they no longer want, need or use. Closet POSSIBLE will gladly bring these items to HomeFront so they can be distributed to the people who need them most. We’ll also arrange for customers to receive documentation from HomeFront so they can claim a tax deduction for what they give.
